Picking up at the Bar

Do you eagerly want to meet someone while you're out at a bar but you don't have the guts? Do you find yourself contemplating if you should actually approach that tipsy girl across the room but does it always fail if you decide to do so? Don't worry! Here are some tricks of the trade for when it comes to approaching women in bars and clubs. After all, you can't just stand there, up against the wall, sipping your beer hoping that a stunning girl will just magically show up in front of you. Beautiful women take effort boys. Follow these tips and you'll do just fine.

The most important thing to remember and to be, is funny! Women love a man who can make them laugh. It also shows them that you aren't too serious and can have light-hearted fun. Comical one-liners or openers work amazingly, especially on girls that have had a few at the bar. The trick is to pick the right one-liner to say. Anything that starts with, "Is that a mirror in your knickers..." is not a good choice. Try something like, "Someone just told me I look like... (insert celebrity name here)... what do you think?" If you don't have the confidence to do this, then a simple, "Hello! My name is..." will work just as well.

You must make that physical connection throughout your conversation. Whether it is by touching her shoulder, the small of her back or her arm or touching her body (respectfully) as often as you can. After a short conversation, this will show her that not only are you confident, but a strong (and interested) man. In return, read her body language and if she responds positively, then feel free to proceed with more intimate touching.

Lastly, go in for the kiss, and no, don't just peck her and definitely don't shove your tongue down her throat. Let her know that you're interested by giving her a sweet kiss on the cheek. If all goes well and she seems responsive, then try a proper kiss. If you receive positive feedback from her, then ask for her number and let the fun begin!
